Dad's 50's Prime Time Cafe Review -
Yes, it's been a long time ago, but Dad and the family visited 50's Prime Time Cafe. It was on our first full family trip. Dad couldn't wait to eat at this restaurant. It sounded great. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, how could you go wrong.
The day finally came and we presented ourselves at the podium. We were soon escorted to our kitchen table complete with linoleum chairs. Scattered around the room, but not at our table, there were black and white TV's playing kitcheny videos.
Mom (no not Mrs. Mom) came over and offered us some drinks. If I remember right, that's the last we saw of Mom for a while. After about an hour our drinks showed up (it was probably 15 minutes, but it seemed like forever).
To make a long story not too long. The service wasn't stellar. The food was uninspiring and kinda bland. Overall we just didn't like 50's Prime Time Cafe too much.
