Disney's All Star Music ResortPoolsThe All Star Music Resort has two heated pools. The Calypso pool which has a children's wading area, and the Piano Pool where Ariel plays the guitar. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:00am until midnight. They even have a little fun from time to time. The pools are a great place for kids to burn off that last burst of energy before going to bed. Our teenagers loved the freedom of getting away from the parents and going out to the pool, even after a full day in the parks. We parents loved the fact that we could walk out the door and look down and see the kids. Melody HallThe Melody Hall of Disney All Star Music Resort is the main gathering area of the resort. Just make reservations for DIsney's Magical Express and let Disney do the driving. Check out Dad's Disney's Magical Express page for more information Buses may be shared with the other All Star Resorts. Bus routes are mainly to the four theme parks, the two water parks, and Downtown Disney. Getting to other Disney World resorts can be difficult. For example, there is no easy way to get to Jiko or Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. To get there you could take a bus to Downtown Disney where you would then change busses to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. That's why Dad recommends a car at Disney World. Buses can become very crowded during the park opening and closing times. You might have to wait for a couple of buses. Dad's Bottom LineFor the price, the Disney All Star Music can't be beat. The food court is fantastic. The pools are large and clean. It's a lot of fun. One note of caution - the All Star Resorts cater to large groups, sometimes those groups are not well chaperoned. All Star Music Resort (page 1)
