Disney All Star Music Resort

The Disney All Star Music Resort is a great place for families that love music. Decorations around the resort all have a music theme. From notes to instruments you are immersed in sounds and shapes from the world of music.

The All Star Resorts are located close Disney's Animal Kingdom. The three resorts share bus service. This can be a problem (see the Transportation section). Dad recommends that you have a car if you are staying at any of the All Star Resorts.

Themes, great big movie themes

There are 5 different musical types that make up the themeing of the buildings. They are Jazz, Calypso, Rock, Country, and Broadway Musicals. Each of the buildings is themed to match the style of music.

The kids will love it.

Jazz- At the Jazz Inn, giant drum sets and saxophone players overlook the courtyard, while musical notes adorn the buildings.

Calypso - At the Calypso colorful xylophone's and tropical birds are the decorations that liven up these buildings.

Rock - Guitars and speakers tower over you in the Rock Inn.

Country - Guitars, Banjos, Fiddles and Cowboy boots tower of the country courtyard.

Broadway - Check out the taxi on Broadway and all great big top hats that line the buildings.

The All Star Music Resort is decorated with kids in mind. There's nothing subtle here. Colors are bright and loud. Let the kids take time to check out all the little things.

Rooms

The rooms at the All Star Music Resort are standard hotel rooms. They measure 260 sq. feet. They are very functional, but there is not any wasted space. These rooms are the same size as the Pop Century rooms. They are reasonably comfortable for a family of 4.

Rooms are painted to match the decor of the building. Tile colors, borders, and wall colors will change depending on the building you are assigned.

Number of guests per room

Disney World resorts rules allow 4 guests per room. You can add 1 infant that can sleep in a crib. If you have more than 2 adults, Disney charges a $10.00 per night per adult fee. (4 adults would be an extra $20.00 per night.

Money Saving Tip: If your family has more than 4, or you just want some extra space, reserve 2 rooms. Disney only requires one adult per room. You can request connecting rooms, Disney All Star Music has lots of connecting rooms. Two rooms would give you 520 square feet which is more space than any other regular room at Disney World. PLUS you would have two bathrooms. (If you have any females in your party, two bathrooms will come in handy.)

What's in the room

The rooms at Disney's All Star Music Resort are equipped with everything most travelers need for a great vacation. There are 2 types of rooms available, Standard and Preferred. The only difference between Standard and Preferred is the proximity to the Melody Hall.

Below is a list of the furnishings in the rooms:
