Animal Kingdom December Hours

Animal Kingdom December Hours are some of the most diverse of the year. Some days the park closes at 5:00, some days at 6:00 some days at 7:00 and then Extra Magic hours comes along and some days are 8:00 all the way to 10:00. (Gonna have some sleepy animals.)

December continues Christmas events in the Animal Kingdom. Every day the afternoon parade gets taken over by Christmas. Even the big guy shows up at the end.

Crowds in December are erratic. They range from very small to wall to wall. The week of Christmas can be a zoo (pun intended).

Extra Magic Hour

The EMH you see in the calendar is Disney's Extra Magic Hours. EMH is a program for Disney hotel guests that allows you to be in the park outside of normal operating hours. Only selected rides are open during Extra Magic Hours.

There are several Early Extra Magic Hours toward the end of the month.
