Animal Kingdom hours are fairly stable compared to The Magic Kingdom. The park opens at 9:00 every morning and closes between 5 and 8 pm. Most of the year it's 5:00, but during the busy times it will run clear up to 8:00.

Extra Magic Hours
Extra Magic Hours are a perk for all Disney hotel guests. They add an additional 1 to 3 hours to the scheduled park hours. At the Animal Kingdom the Extra Magic Hours most weeks include one morning (usually Monday) and one evening (usually Friday). But during the busy months you can expect two mornings and one evening.

Dad's Bottom Line
It's good to know the hours when your visiting a Walt Disney World park. Crowds are the lightest at opening and closing times. Go early, go late, or fight the crowds. For Dad that's a no brainer.
