Blackbeard comes to Pirates of the Caribbean

A new Pirates of the Caribbean movie comes out this month which means that the ride must make a change. The newest "villian" the vile pirate Blackbeard (at least that's what you would think from the trailers) will join Captain Jack Sparrow and his band of rowdy pirates on their plundering adventure.

Ian McShane or Captain Blackbeard will be seen projected on the waterfall in the "grotto" scene of both the Disney World and the Disneyland attractions.

The new image will be appearing on May 20 the day the movie opens in theaters. Later in the year, Davy Jones will return to the ride.
