Why stay at hotels outside Disney World?If your family is like ours, we tend to arrive in Orlando late in the evenings. Why should we want to pay Disney's outrageous prices for our arrival day. Why not save a bundle and stay in one of the hundreds of great hotels in the Orlando area that are so much cheaper than the overpriced palaces inside Disney World (sorry, Uncle Walt, but it's true.) for that arrival night. Or, if you want to save a bundle on your vacation, or if you are going to spend some time at one of Orlando's other vacation attractions you will probably want to find a hotel in the Disney World area that's less expensive than the Disney World hotels. Finding cheaper hotels in the Disney World areaThere are a couple of great tools for finding great prices on hotels in and around Orlando. The first is from Hotels Combined. They look at the different sources and show you the best prices available.
The second is from Booking Wizard. Dad likes this one because it allows you to easily check several different sources. Just enter Orlando, Kissimmee, or Lake Buena Vista in the search box.
