Disney Hotels

This chart only applies to Disney Hotels. Dad based these prices on the Pop Century Resort, Dad's favorite Disney World Discount Hotel so he used it as the model for finding the best time to visit Disney World when it comes to prices. The rankings for the Value Resorts, the Moderate Resorts and the Deluxe Resorts should be pretty much the same as below. The Deluxe Villas however sometimes have a mind of their own and have different dates when the prices are a bit higher.

Week Rankings by Price

Here are the 2012 weeks ranked in order of least expensive to most expensive. I priced a week as Sunday to Sunday. I looked at the rate for a Standard Room at the Pop Century. I've included the price for a full 7 night week for comparison.

Weekends

Most weeks of the year you will have to pay extra if you stay in a Disney Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights. The cheapest of these higher prices is $15.00 per night. This isn't true of every week, but it is true of most weeks.

The Best Time

In addition to the cheapest time to visit Disney World, Dad has a page on the best time to visit. It talks about crowds, events, weather and everything that goes into a Disney World vacation.

Discounts

Discounts on Disney World vacations are harder to find all the time. Even during the best years for discounts the week of Christmas and other high price weeks have been exempted. The latest discount has more than half the eligible weeks blacked out.

Crowds

Disney World crowds will pretty well mimic the cheapest times to visit Disney World. Big crowds show up when schools in the United States are out for breaks. Not only are these weeks more expensive (like summer and Christmas) they have bigger crowds. Check out Dad's Crowds page to find out what crowds will be like and how to deal with them.
