Cigars Aren't For Princesses

Cigars Aren't For Princesses

The Princesses riding Dumbo

The Princesses riding Dumbo

For Disney rookies with no planning and three children under five we were close but no cigar on Nov 19th to riding 9 by noon.

We arrived with our Princesses (ages 4 and 2) and our own Peter Pan (6 mths) to tackle Fantasyland and maybe ride the new Belle and Ariel rides too! We didn't have a touring plan, but arriving at 9 for park opening, we rode Prince Charming's Carousel, Belle's Enchanted Tales, the Ariel ride, Dumbo, the Tea Cups, and Winnie the Pooh by 11. Not aware of this great challenge we stopped for lunch at this point, so we were close but no cigar. We try to keep our own Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty from cigars anyway.

Now that we know the importance of planning we have an easy plan to hit 9 by noon for our next November trip for our princesses: Belle's, Ariel's, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Prince Charming Carousel, and the Magic Carpets in Adventureland. I am sure even a family with 3 kids under 5 could hit these and take an afternoon nap (for the parents:).

Dad's Bottom Line

Thanks Shawn for the great entry. Next time you go to Walt Disney World you'll be smokin' that cigar (figuratively of course) at the finish line.
