Yep, it's August and it's hot at Walt Disney World. But the good news is the crowds are finally leaving the parks, just in time for a late summer Magical Disney World vacation. Check out Dad's crowd pages to help with your planning.

August puts and end to summer, and begins the fall season. Crowds lighten up and temperatures start to moderate. The last week or two in August is a great time to visit.

Extra Magic Hour

The EMH you see in the calendar is Disney's Extra Magic Hours. EMH is a program for Disney hotel guests that allows you to be in the park outside of normal operating hours. Only selected rides are open during Extra Magic Hours.
