Crowds

Fall is a great time at Walt Disney World. At Epcot the crowds thin, the temperatures come down. Everything is beautiful. This is one of the best months to avoid crowds at Disney World.

Disney World Events

One of Epcot's largest events starts in September. Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival starts in late September. During the festival, you can sample food and wine from several countries from around the world.

Extra Magic Hour

The EMH you see in the calendar is Disney's Extra Magic Hours. EMH is a program for Disney hotel guests that allows you to be in the park outside of normal operating hours. Only selected rides are open during Extra Magic Hours.

Epcot is a great place to be in September. The crowds are low, the park is fun and after the Food and Wine Festival starts, everything smells incredible. But alas, the Epcot September Hours are as boring as the rest of the year.
