Is the Fantasmic Dining Package available if you are on the Disney Dining Plan? Would you have to pay extra for this event?

Thanks for the questions. Yes, the Fantasmic Dinner Package is available on the Disney Dining Plan. That's the short answer, but Dad never goes for the short answer so here's the rest of the story.

Dad's Fantasmic page

Fantasmic is the nighttime fireworks show shown at Disney Hollywood Studios. It's not shown every night so you'll have to check the schedule to see what nights are available.

The Fantasmic Dinner Package is a great way to see Fantasmic without waiting in line for 2 hours. There is a separate line for guests on the dinner package. It has a limited number of seats which sell out early.

Three restaurants participate in the package. They are

Hollywood Brown Derby
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano
Hollywood and Vine

The Brown Derby is a Signature Dining Experience and will "cost" two Disney Dining Plan Table Service credits. The other restaurants will be just one Table Service Credit.

The Fantasmic Dinner Package requires a credit card to reserve. This is true even if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. Just make sure when you CALL and make your reservation, you tell them you are on the Dining Plan (they will probably ask). That way Disney won't charge your credit card unless you don't show up at your reservation.
