Gay Day at the Epcot

A long time ago, before internet. A time before cell phones were affordable. The grandchildren went to Disney on our own. This band of cousins set out to take over Epcot and other kingdoms. Well soon as we got there we noticed women holding hands, and then we noticed men holding hands. Big strong men holding hands.
One thing all these gay people had in common was that they wore red shirts. One of my cousins and my younger brother were the two poor souls that wore red shirts on this day of all days. We clowned them the whole day, it was hilarious. When we got back home my mom brought to our attention that it was Gay Day at the parks. It had been on the news because plenty of people showed up.
We were like Duh we know we were there. From that day on we check, but we always laugh about that day at the parks.
