Getting ready for our Disney World trip in April?
(Old Bridge NJ)
My boss can buy me something for Christmas but not a gift card. What can I ask for to help us with our Disney World trip in April? Budget 125.00.
Dad's hardest question ever Answer
Yes, that's right, this is the hardest question Dad has ever been asked. Why?
Because I don't know you Dee from Old Bridge NJ. I don't know if you are rich or poor, if you are going by yourself or with a thousand others, where you are staying ...
But, because Dad knows Disney, and Dad knows pretty much everything you need to know for a perfect Disney World vacation, Dad's going to take a shot in the dark and see if he can help Dee get ready for her Disney World trip in April.
No gift cards ???
Here are three options. (I'll give you more if these don't work, just let me know.)
First - great walking shoes. This could be a little personal coming from a boss, but for the perfect Disney World vacation in April, or anytime for that matter you need shoes that will be very comfortable for walking miles a day in.
Second - prepay for a meal. Most of the nice Disney World restaurants are now prepay. You boss could make you a reservation at say Teppan Edo
or another of the fine Disney restaurants and pay for your meal.
Third - Disney Dollars. Yes Disney has their own currency. For years you could buy Disney Dollars at the parks or at the Disney Stores. Disney discontinued this for a while, but at last report (last month) they are still selling Disney Dollars. The boss could go to a Disney Store and pick up some Disney Dollars for you and give them to you. You can order them from Disney Merchandising (not online) but there's a $15.00 mailing fee.
Dee, let me know if you need more ideas. I've got a ton.
