Having a Car in the World

My wife and i have been going to the World 8 years now, 6 visits in total, and the follwing has been learned and rarely disproven. Even the simpliest journey can take up to an hour using Disney transportation.
That is why we now always use our hire car. Hotel to park now takes 15 minutes, parking is free at the parks whilst you are staying on site. And the huge advantage is that once finished in one park, you can head directly to another park without having to head elsewhere first! So a journey that could take at least an hour (and it's taken me a lot longer that that before) is completed in 15 minutes.
And since we've had children it's even more of a no brainer!
