Holiday Wishes

Holiday Wishes is one of the biggest, most expensive, and definitely the loudest, Christmas productions at Walt Disney World.

Wishes is the night time fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom. It is performed almost every night of the year.

During the holidays, the regular Wishes show takes a break. On selected nights the holiday version of Wishes takes over.

About the show

The holiday version of the show highlights holiday music with the fireworks show. There's narration from Jiminy Crickett and snippets from songs including "I'll be home for Christmas", "Oh, Christmas Tree" and many more.

And of course there's a big finish.

Show dates

It is shown as part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This years Party dates are November 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 29 and December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18.

Also, it's shown most nights from December 21 through December 31. It can be seen usually at 9:00 pm.

Where to see it

The best place to see the show is from Main Street USA. If you aren't in the parks, you can see the show from any of the resorts on Bay Lake. The beach at the Polynesian Resort is Dad's favorite place to see Holiday Wishes.

Dad's Bottom Line

All of Disney's fireworks shows are not to be missed and this show is no exception. Check it out this holiday season.
