Hollywood Studios breakfast
Thanks for your dedication to and love of Disney World. My sister and I are huge Disney fans, and will be going back again this September. Problem is we don't know where to eat at Disney Hollywood Studios for breakfast now that ABC Commentary no longer serves it. We'd like to use a counter service for breakfast that day. Do you know what our best options are?
We appreciate any suggestions! :-)
Thanks so much,
Dad's eat before you get there Answer
First let me say, there is not a lot of choice when it comes to Disney Hollywood Studios breakfast options. It's easy to see why you are having problems.
I'm not a big fan of eating breakfast in the parks. Here's why.
The first 3 hours of the day is the time when crowds will be the lowest of the day. So, while you are eating your Disney Hollywood Studios breakfast the lines at Toy Story Mania, Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are getting longer by the minute. In my opinion it's not a good use of time.
I'd recommend you eat at your hotel (we love the omelets at the Pop Century food court
) or if you're staying offsite, grab something on your way in.
Now, if you are able to tour Walt Disney World at a leisurely pace and are looking for experiences, that's a different story. But even then there are not many options. You're basically stuck with the Hollywood and Vine Character Breakfast.
About the only thing left is Starring Rolls. It's just pastries, but sometimes those hit the spot. Plus it's fast.
Dad's Bottom Line
Mindy (I avoided the Mork joke, aren't you proud of me?), It's getting harder and harder to get a non-character sit down breakfast in the parks. I think that's because most people have eaten by the time they get there. On most days the parks open at 9 am (10 eastern) that's pretty late for most people to eat breakfast.
Again, my recommendation is to eat before you get there or grab a muffin at Starring Rolls.
