Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review
The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review is much more than just a restaurant. It's a patriotic dinner show where the food is part of the show. Good ole, down home, southern good food.

Making Reservations
You will need to make reservations for the Hoop Dee Doo Review. Reservations can be made at Disney's website or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Make reservations as soon as you can (180 days prior to your trip). Reservations tend to go quickly. It's not unusual for the show to be completely booked the first day it's available.

Pioneer Hall
The show is conducted at Pioneer Hall which is located at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Campground. Getting to Pioneer Hall can be a bit of a challenge. The easiest way is to go the Magic Kingdom and grab the Ft. Wilderness Campground launch. You can also take a bus or drive to the campground entrance, then transfer to the internal Ft. Wilderness bus to Pioneer Hall.
Pioneer Hall is designed to look like a saloon from the Old West. There is a piano and banjo player that sit in the corner and provide the instrumental accompaniment for the performers. Big wooden tables are all around the bottom floor and a bar encircles the top floor. (The chairs on the top floor are really cool. You can sit in them and twirl around.)

The Food
Typically when you eat at a restaurant, the first thing you see is the menu. Not at the Hoop Dee Doo. There is not a menu. The menu is set. The servers just bring the food out and keep bringing it all evening.
The Hoop Dee Doo Menu
- Cornbread and honey butter
- Salad
- Chicken and ribs
- Beans
- Smashed Potatoes
- Seasonal Vegetables
- Strawberry Shortcake
There is a vegetarian alternative (noodles and marinara.
The food is brought to the table in pails. Big heavy pails. Part of the show is the servers bang the pails on the tables. It's funny and annoying.
This is basic comfort food. There's nothing fancy here. Eat all you want, in fact pig out. You can get all you want and more.

The Show
OK, it's corny, it's silly but it's a whole lot of fun. The premise is, the performers group from the old west traveling the country putting on a dinner show. There are 6 cast members to the show. 3 guys and 3 gals. They are the entertainment. They all get into the act with singing and dancing and even a bit of humor.
It's all done in good clean Disney fun.

The Cost
The Hoop Dee Doo is offered 3 times almost every night. The show times are 5, 7:15 and 8:30. The cost depends on where you sit. There are 3 categories. Category 1 costs $58.99 for adults (10 and up) and $29.99 for children (3-9). Category 2 is $54.99 for adults and $26.99 for children. Category 3 is $50.99 for adults and $25.99 for children.
Now before you start screaming how expensive that is, it does include dinner, dessert, drinks (non-alcoholic) taxes and the tip. THE TIP IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. But I bet the servers (who do a great job) would appreciate an additional tip.

Dad's Bottom Line
The Hoop Dee Doo Review is corny, but fun. You'll be singing right along by the end. The food is good and there is a lot of it. Go ahead and pig out. Don't save room for dessert.
PS. The Kids will love it. Trust me~
