Liberty Tree Tavern restaurant is slightly misnamed. You can't get any ale here (no alcohol is allowed in the Magic Kingdom), but you can get some good food. Here you can find the bounty from the earth shared in a fine meal of dishes like clam chowder and roast turkey. In fact the Traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey and dressing are served every day.
The restaurant is a replica of a Colonial Style House from the time when men with names like Jefferson, Washington and Franklin where the big shots. There is a lot of history around here. The Liberty Tree grows out front. Servers wear costumes that are replicas of those from colonial times. Ladies wear Betsy Ross type bonnets while the gentlemen have those shirts with puffy sleeves.
Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern is an experience. First you are summoned to your table by the town crier, then you step back in time to the time when bounty was shared and group dining was a from of entertainment and socializing.
Lunch is usually served from around 11:00 am until 4:00pm. Times vary depending on park opening time.
