Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

At Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party the scariest thing is the guests, and most of them are under 4 foot tall. This party is a kid-friendly "Spooky" party. Guests are invited to wear costumes. (Please adults, Disney World is full of kids who don't need an anatomy lesson.) Costumes should not hinder vision.

Tickets

You can buy tickets in advance (recommended because some parties sell out) or at the gate. It costs more at the gate if you can get them. You can even print them out on the internet. Disney makes it real easy to get tickets. You take your tickets to the park and they give you wristbands that you wear all night.

The prices change depending on the date you want to attend. If you go in September (except the 29th) advanced tickets are $59 for adults and $54 for children (3 to 9). The rest of the parties are $62 for adults and $57 for children (except for Halloween night and Fridays). For Friday nights in October, and Halloween night the price is $73 for adults and $68 for children (you will need to purchase these in advance because most of these nights will sell out).

Discounts are available for all the parties before Halloween (except for the Friday nights) for Annual Passholders and DVC Members. There is also a substantial Military Discount in September.

Prices do not include tax.

Crowd Factor

Some nights, especially Thursday and Friday nights, will be very crowded. Halloween night will be jam packed. (See what happed when Dad encountered a sold out Halloween Party.)

Dad's Bottom Line

Unlike it's counterpart across town (Universal Studios), this party is appropriate for kids of all ages. It's a blast, and there are treats too.
