Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

At Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party the scariest thing is the guests, and most of them are under 4 foot tall.

The party is a kid-friendly "Spooky" party. Guests are invited to wear costumes. (Please adults, Disney World is full of kids who don't need an anatomy lesson.) Costumes should not hinder vision.

You can have the Magic Kingdom all to yourself, just you and about 20,000 of your friends, from 7:00pm until midnight. You even get to Trick-or-Treat your way around the Magic Kingdom.

Here are the dates for this year -

• September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
• October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31
• November 1

Tickets

Tickets are $59.95 for adults and $53.95 for children ages 3-9 for the September shows, for the October and November parties they are $62.95 and $57.95. You can take $5.00 per ticket off the price for advance purchases (tax is not included).

Crowd Factor

Some nights, especially Thursday and Friday nights, will be very crowded. Halloween night will be jam packed.

Open Attractions

Most of the Magic Kingdom's Attractions are open during the party.

Most of the counter-service food locations stay open, but the table-service restaurants close.

Special Ghostly Activities

There are some very special Disney World events during the party, like -

• Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade - Starring the characters from the Haunted Mansion. The parade starts with a ride from the Headless Horseman.
• Happy HalloWishes - The spectacular fireworks show. Disney villains go trick-or-treating in the sky.
• Disney Characters and Villains roam the park in special costumes.

Unlike it's counterpart across town, this party is appropriate for kids of all ages. It's a blast, and there are treats too.
