Dad,
Any feedback on the Orlando kids eat free cards? From a dad with 7, 5 and 3 year old boys and will be staying off Disney for 10 days.

Dad's don't know much about Answer
Adam,Truthfully, I've never paid attention to the Kids Eat Free programs in Orlando. It's been over 30 years since we stayed offsite and we've never stayed offsite with the kids. We don't pay much attention to restaurants outside of Walt Disney World.
I found the website for My Kids Eat Free but it looked like it was a big advertisement for Denney's Restaurant. There is also a program where you can get a card from AAA for $20.00 just so your kids can eat free(?).
Once you get to Orlando, there are usually a bunch of advertizing books that you can pick up which have coupons for free or cheap prices on food. There is also a site that lists where kids can eat free by night of the week. It's a site called Coupon Divas. I can't vouch for the validity of any of the information over there.
I guess I'm just too much of a Disney snob. I can eat at Chili's and Denny's any day I choose. When I'm on vacation at Walt Disney World, I believe a big part of the experience is eating at the Disney World Restaurants.

Yes, I know, it's more expensive to eat meals at Disney World. At least sometimes. You can find good deals in all of the parks and at most of the hotels. What you can't find outside of Disney World is the wonderful themeing and cleanliness that is Disney's hallmark. The opinions on this page do reflect the views of the management and staff of Dad's Guide to WDW. Contrasting viewpoints can be added below. The management and staff of Dad's Guide to WDW thanks you for your continuing support.

Dad's Bottom Line
Adam, kids eating free is a big deal. I understand that. I have a horse, excuse me, I mean an eating machine that can eat a 7 course meal and want a turkey leg an hour later. I also know that staying offsite frees you to explore some non-Disney options for meals. Just make sure you aren't so cheap that you miss a wonderful authentic Disney World experience (like Casey's Corner.)
