PhotoPass and PhotoPass+
NOTE: Photopass is now called MemoryMaker.
With Walt Disney World's PhotoPass and PhotoPass+ services, you can capture your family’s magical moments with ease! What could be a better way to remember your Perfect Vacation than with a beautiful, professionally taken photograph?
PhotoPass is a service offered by Disney at all of the theme parks, waterparks, and at select resort dining or entertainment experiences. Professional photographers are stationed around the park, and you can have your photo taken by them at any time – free of charge!
How it works
When you see a PhotoPass photographer, you can walk right up to them and ask for your picture to be taken (sometimes there is a family or two in line already). They’ll pose you in front of a landmark or with a character, and take a few different shots. Then, they’ll swipe a PhotoPass Card and hand it to you, and you’ll be on your way!
After your trip, you can visit disneyphotopass.com to view and order your photos.

Sometimes, the photographers will have to pose in specific ways so that characters or special effects can be superimposed in the photo editing phase. These are called Magic Shots – and options include holding Tinkerbell in your hand, battling Darth Vader, or even being surprise by a Hitchhiking Ghost. If you’re hoping for a specific Magic Shot, just ask your friendly photographer!
There are a few ways you can get cards. If you purchase a Magic My Way package from Disney, they’ll send you a card in the mail before your trip. If not, you'll get a card during your first photo encounter. If you already have a card, you can hand it to the photographer instead of getting a new one – that way all of your photos are available on one card. If you end up with several cards, you can add them all to the same PhotoPass account.
You can register each card on the website before, during, or after your trip. Once you register a card, the pictures associated with it will appear in your account so that you can view them, and even edit them. Photos taken are only available for a few weeks after your trip, so make sure you view them and make any purchasing decisions quickly after your trip!
Ordering Your Pictures
You can order your pictures as physical prints in a variety of sizes, or printed on merchandise like stickers, mugs, puzzles, ornaments, cards, calendars, and more. Accessories like albums and frames are available for purchase as well.
You can also order individual photos for .jpg download to your computer or get all of your photos on a PhotoPass PhotoCD (including high resolution .jpg files of the original pics and any edited versions you have made, along with a limited license allowing you to print copies). A PhotoPass PhotoCD costs about $170 no matter how many pictures you have, so if you go with this option, take as many photos as you can to get the most bang for your buck!
There’s also an option to purchase all of your attraction photos for one low price of around $45 with the Attractions+ pass – get all of your family’s ride photos from Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, and Test Track on one disc!

Where to Find Photographers
Photographers are stationed throughout the parks and waterparks at locations with iconic landmarks or at Character meet-and-greets. They are professionals, and have professional equipment so getting the best angles and ensuring the lighting is just right is no problem for them! You can get some truly magical photos – even at night!
At the Magic Kingdom, you can find the Photopass photographers in each land, at the main entrance, and the Castle hub. At Epcot, look for them at the main entrance, around World Showcase, at MISSION: Space and Test Track. At Disney Hollywood Studios, track them down on Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, at Sorcerer Mickey's Hat, at Al's Toy Barn, Animation Courtyard, and Avenue of the Americas. At Animal Kingdom, they’re stationed at the main entrance, Tree of life, Expedition Everest, and in Africa. All character greeting locations also have photographers.
Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have photographers on standby to catch every splash. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom will capture your little princess after her makeover.
Selected restaurants have tableside photo purchase which can be added to your PhotoPass account, including Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Chef Mickey’s, Mickey's Backyard Barbeque, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and Spirit of Aloha Dinner.
Now you can use PhotoPass for more than just the occasional family portrait to compliment your own photos. Why not leave the camera at home and let Disney take all of your pictures? For about $200 (Sometimes a price of $150 is offered when you purchase before your trip) you can visit the PhotoPass photographers as many times as you like over the course of your trip and you’ll be able to take each and every one of them home with you!
PhotoPass+ is a service that can be purchased at any viewing station in Walt Disney World or online from the website after you return home, and not only does it entitle you to ask many PhotoPass pictures as you can take, but you’ll also receive a CD with 400 professional photos of Walt Disney World.
Another neat feature of PhotoPass+ is that the photos taken on select attractions can also be added to your account (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, and Test Track).
If you’re dining at a location that offers photo purchase at your table, you can add those pictures to your PhotoPass+ account too. Capture the magic of your family dining at 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana (breakfast only), Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House (breakfast only), , Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, and Akershus Princess Storybook Dining.
