Pop Warner Football Championships and Cheerleading Competition

We are going in December and I just found out that the Pop Warner Football Championships and Cheerleading Competition will be the weekend we're there. This is a peewee and junior football deal.

Do you know how busy the parks are during these events? They are held at the ESPN Sports complex but I don't imagine all those kids could be there without visiting the parks too.

Dad's annoying but not so bad Answer

Yes, the Pop Warner Football Championships and Cheerleading Competition does occur every December at Walt Disney World. The kids spend most of the day involved in activities, so typically the parks are not very busy during the daytime hours.

However, in the evenings, bunches of, sometimes unsupervised, sometimes very loud (think cheerleader loud), sometimes a little rowdy, pre-teen brats (did I say that out loud?), I mean children start invading the parks. The good thing is they tend to congregate around the faster rides, which you should have finished much earlier in the day (if you follow Dad's advice).

Crowds are manageable, but I'd highly suggest avoiding the All Star Resorts that week. Most of the teams stay there and it does get very loud into the late evenings.
