Seven Seas LagoonSeven Seas Lagoon is the man-made body of water between the Transportation and Ticket Center and the Magic Kingdom. It is connected to Disney World Bay Lake. It's the lake that you cross on the ferry. The Grand Floridian, the Polynesian Resort and the Contemporary Resort all have big beaches on the Seven Seas Lagoon and they have marinas where you can rent boats for fun on the lagoon.
While on your vacation you can rent a sailboat, ski boat, cute little motor boat, kayak, pontoon boat, you can water ski, water board, knee board, ski tube, parasail, or even Sea Doo on Bay Lake. You can even watch the fireworks from Bay Lake on an intimate dinner cruise. Check it out.
Fishing on Seven Seas LagoonThere are several fishing experiences available at the resort marinas on Seven Seas Lagoon. Some or all of the excursions listed below are available at your resort. Available Excursions may include guided Bass Fishing Excursions, Bass Nitro Fishing Excursions and Junior Fishing Excursions and even Cane Pole Fishing are available for purchase. To cross the Seven Seas Lagoon and get to the Magic Kingdom, you can ride the ferry. Disney has three ferry's that run between the Transportation and Ticket Center and the Magic Kingdom. They are the Richard F. Irvine, the Admiral Joe Fowler, and the General Joe Potter. The three boats are identical. They each have an upper and lower deck with front and rear stairs. Each has a capacity of 600 and wheelchair access is available on the lower deck. During periods of heavy traffic three boats will make the 10 minute trip.
