The Magic Kingdom Five days later

Several years ago, our first trip to Disney as a family (and our daughter's first trip) took place the first week of December (A.K.A. Jersey week). At the begining of our vacation, there were Halloween decorations galore, but by the end of our stay, the Magic Kingdom was decked out for Christmas.

First week of November

OOOps. The trip took place the first week of November, not December, and the decorations went from Halloween to Christmas, skipping right over Thanksgiving.

Disney does skip right over Thanksgiving. A long time ago Christmas season didn't start at Disney World until the day after Thanksgiving. It's a bit of a shame.
