Victoria and Albert's

Victoria and Albert's is the best restaurant at Walt Disney World (or at least the most expensive). This is not your normal theme park hamburger joint. it's a high class, high priced dining experience. From the time you walk in the door and are greeted by Victoria and Albert (your servers) until 2 hours or more later, you will be pampered like you've never been pampered before.

The Dining Experiences

There are three different experiences you can reserve.

  • The regular dining room. This is an elegant experience where personal service is the norm.
  • The Queen Victoria Room is behind closed doors and has just 4 tables. This is an intimate and elegant experience where the chef will visit your table and discuss each course and the options. For your entertainment some of the courses will be prepared table side. Up to 10 courses are included in this experience. This experience can take up to 4 hours.
  • The Chef's Table - is a private dining experience for up to 10 guests, but intimate dinners for 2 can be arranged. You'll be seated in the kitchen where you can interact with the head chef while you feast on some of the best food anywhere.

The Queen Victoria Room and the Chef's Table only have 1 seating per evening starting at 5:00 pm.;

Dress Code

Victoria and Albert's is one of the few restaurants at Disney World where you must dress for dinner. This is an elegant place and Disney expects guests to conduct themselves with a modicum of decorum and dress appropriately. (Like those big words?)

The dress code, or as Disney calls it proper attire (said with Dad's finest British accent) for dining is a Jacket with dress pants/slacks and shoes (no mention of a shirt but you should probably wear one) for men and a cocktail dress, dressy pant suit, skirt/blouse or nice dress for women. There are some prohibited items - no - jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes. In other words this is a fancy place. Dress up.

Reservations are required. You can make reservations 180 days prior to your visit. Reservations can be made at (407) WDW-DVNA. (That's not the standard dining reservation phone number. Victoria and Albert's has it's own reservation system.) If you want to dine at the chef's table or in the Queen Victoria Room, you should make reservations at the 180 day mark due to the limited availability.

Dad's Bottom Line

This is more than just a meal, it truly is an experience. At the chef's table you'll have the experience of a lifetime watching your food as it is prepared and talking directly to the chef. This is a great place for a special time (like an engagement).
