Walt Disney World Crowds are necessary

Dad is not a fan of crowds, but Walt Disney World crowds are necessary. There I've said it, but a lot of us don't like to go to a theme park when there are big crowds. We don't like waiting in line and we don't like it when people are bumping in to us. They just mess up our perfectly planned Disney World vacations.

Whew, glad to get that off my chest. All that being said, let me say, for the record, Walt Disney World crowds are necessary.

Yes, they are neccessary

Hey, Dad, you just said, and I quote, "crowds at Disney World are necessary."

No, that's not correct. What I actually said was " Walt Disney World crowds are necessary." It may be a distinction without a difference, but I'm just rambling here.

Yes, they are necessary. Annoying, but necessary. Just how long do you think Disney World could stay in business if no one showed up?

Avoiding Crowds at Disney World

But Dad, you tell us all the time about how to avoid crowds and what to do when we encounter crowds. Now you want to tell us they are necessary?

Yes, they are necessary, but avoiding them is easy and it does help have a better vacation. The first way to avoid Disney World crowds is to go at a time of the year when crowds are light. That's where you'll want to spend some quality time with ...

Dad's great crowd calendars

Dad's cooked up a color-coded day-to-day prediction of just how busy it will be (in general) at Walt Disney World. These are Dad's predictions for Disney World attendance for each month during the year.

Where do you get this stuff?

Dad bases his predictions on his world famous intuition. (I know, most men don't have intuition. Dad does.) OK, it's not all intuition, Dad looks at historic levels of attendance and just some good old common sense.

Crowd levels are assigned a color to help you know which days are the most likely to be busy. For example red is very busy and green is not very busy. Most of it makes a bunch of sense (there's that word again.) Check them out.
