If we are checking in to Art of Animation on Sunday, can we put an extra day on the MagicBand and use it to go to a park on Saturday?

Dad’s add a day to the MagicBand is easy Answer

You are in luck. It’s really easy to add a day to MagicBands. All you do is go to a Guest Relations booth at one of the parks or the concierge desk at a hotel and add a day. It only costs $10 per day if you have a 4 day or longer ticket.

In fact, I would go ahead to the park on Saturday. Activate your tickets. Then whenever you get to the Art of Animation go to the concierge desk and add a day to your tickets.

Your tickets can be activated at any time and are not contingent on when you check in. They will be good for 14 days after activated unless you have the never expire option.

One thing I would caution you about. Don’t wait too long to add the day. It’s easier for Disney if you have at least one day left on your tickets. Once your tickets have expired it’s more difficult to add a day and if you are staying offsite it can’t be done.

While we’re talking about tickets, we have a great partner that can save you money on Disney Tickets and on tickets for all the attractions around Orlando. Check out our friends over at the Official Ticket Center. They’ve got everything you need.

Dad’s Bottom Line

Steve, it’s easy to add a day to your tickets/MagicBands. Do it when you get to the park or wait until you’re at the hotel.
