Can you tell me which of the resort rooms available have 2 bathrooms?
This isn’t an odd question at all. I have found traveling with Mrs. Mom and the Princess that two bathrooms is pretty much a necessity.
Even though most of the resort rooms are standard and include one bathroom, many of the resorts have a selection of rooms available that have more than one bathroom. Here’s a list to give you an idea of the types of resorts on property that have multiple bathrooms available:
- All-Star Music: Family Suite
- Art of Animation: Cars Suite, Lion King, and Finding Nemo Suites
Deluxe Resorts: The deluxe resort two-bedroom (or higher) villas
- Animal Kingdom Villas
- Bay Lake Tower
- Beach Club Villas
- BoardWalk Villas
- Grand Floridian Villas
- Old Key West Resort Villas
- Polynesian Village Resort Villas
- Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas
- Wilderness Lodge Villas
Studio suites and one-bedroom villas generally only have one bathroom. Although you may find a one-bedroom villa, for example at Bay Lake Tower, that has two bathrooms.
The Villas are really expensive. You might want to check out renting points if you decide to go that way. That can really save you a bundle. The Villas come with an added benefit of having lots of space and a kitchen. But it does come at a really high cost.
Some of the Deluxe Resorts have suites you can rent. Again, these are very pricey.
You can always do what Dad and his family tries to do. That’s book two rooms at a Value Resort. It’s about the same price as a Family Suite or a Moderate resort. You not only get 2 bathrooms, you get 2 TV’s more beds and more space. It’s a great way for a growing family to get some room to spread out at a “reasonable” price.
Dad’s Bottom Line
Getting a room with an extra bathroom can be a great asset when you are trying to get ready in the morning for a magical day. Of course, instead of getting a larger room with two bathrooms, it might be less expensive to get two adjoining rooms at a value resort.
