BaseLine Tap House is the latest in Disney’s attempts to cater to adult vacationers with interesting lounges. Kids are allowed here, but it’s definitely more of a grown-up vibe and the menu isn’t appealing to the under 21 crowd.

While this kind of spot isn’t Dad’s cup of tea, if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax indoors or on a terrace to get away from the crowds at Hollywood studios while you have a small bite and a beverage, this might be the place for you.
What to Expect
BaseLine Tap House is meant to have a “corner pub vibe” and so it’s pretty relaxed. Inspired by modern-day downtown Los Angeles you can expect lots of exposed brick and wood, a mix of seating and standing tables, and a pretty nice terrace (especially at night).

Location
The lounge is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Commissary Lane, to the left of Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

Snacks
I wouldn’t describe this as a spot to get a meal – it’s more like snacks – pretzels (a fancier version than in the carts), nuts, cheese plates… that sort of thing. There are lots of California beers and wines available, but they have some interesting sodas and lemonade on tap too.

Advanced Dining Reservations
This is a first-come, first-served, walk-up sort of spot. No ADRs needed.

The Disney Dining Plan
BaseLine Tap House does not accept the Disney Dining Plan.

Dad’s Bottom Line
BaseLine Tap House isn’t for Dad, but that’s okay. Like I say in my book, we’re all different, and that’s good. Maybe it will be for you!
