The restaurant is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's one of the most unique restaurants at Walt Disney World in that it combines both Table Service and Quick Service meals. Breakfast and Lunch are Quick Service and Dinner is Table Service. More on that later.

About the Be Our Guest

This is one of the most highly anticipated restaurant openings at Walt Disney World. Be Our Guest provides a once in a life time experience guests are sure to never forget. I would rank it up there with a meal in Cinderella Castle.

The Rose Gallery features a really huge figurine of Belle and her Beast. The figurine twirls and plays music while you dine on really great food. If you are eating in this room do not forget to take a picture of the kids by the figurine.

Remember when Beast told Belle she could go anywhere in the castle except the West Wing? Well I guess the beast had a change of heart because everyone can now enjoy dinner in the West Wing. The enchanted rose is still on display in the West Wing and petals even fall off just like in the movie.

The Ballroom is a great escape from the weather and scenery in Florida. The domed ceiling emulates the night sky and twinkling chandeliers add to the mood. The windows feature the mountains that Beast Castle sits upon. You might even see snow falling out the windows, a rarity in Orlando.

How cool is that?

To quote a famous candlestick "Dinner is served". At Be our Guest, dinner is served between 5:00pm - 10:00 pm (depending on the time the park closes).

Dinner is the signature meal of the day. There are three separate dining rooms which gives guest a different experience every time they dine there. The food may be the best in all of the Magic Kingdom.

The Grey Stuff

WDW Magazine with Be Our Guest

We've all heard it "try the Grey Stuff, it's delicious. If you don't believe me, ask the dishes." So when Disney opened Be Our Guest they had to have Grey Stuff.

Well they did, but at first they made it just for special events. It was not available on the menu. Guests complained. What was Disney thinking? No Grey Stuff?

After several months Disney relented and made a Grey Stuff cupcake. In our January WDW Magazine we have the recipe for the Grey Stuff.

For many years the Magic Kingdom was not known for its fancy dining. The only fancy dining place was Cinderella’s Castle. Be Our Guest has raised the bar for dining in the Magic Kingdom. The beautiful atmosphere and terrific food will be a special treat for anyone who dines here.
