“If we take the boat ferry from the GF to the MK, can a scooter (ECV) fit on the small boat?”

Probably not

HI Mike,

There are a few different size “Resort Launches” (boats) that Disney uses at the Magic Kingdom area. The larger ones do have mobility access and a scooter/ECV/wheelchairs would work.

However, on the Grand Floridian and Polynesian run, Disney uses the smaller launch that does not have mobility access.

So the short answer is no.

That being said, all the other routes at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs and all the hotels that connect with it, the boats do have mobility access at least part of the time.

Dad’s Bottom Line

The best option for you will be the Resort Monorail, the Resort Launches to the Grand Floridian and Polynesian are not able to accommodate scooters.
