Hello! I’m planning on going to Disney and staying in one of their hotels, using the dining packages etc; but I’ve got some friends in Orlando who said they would get me some tickets if I needed some. Could I take the one ticket option, and then use the ones they’ll give me, or do I have to buy Disney’s for the sake of the package?

Dad’s Tickets are Optional Answer
Monica,
It’s not a problem to use your friends tickets. Disney sets their packages up so you can buy each part separately. You don’t have to include tickets for the hotel room or the dining plan.
I will add, depending on when you’re going you might find a better deal than your friends can offer. Right now, Disney’s Spring Special includes up to 30% off of your tickets with your Disney Hotel reservation. That’s a pretty good deal. If your friends only get 10% off, then you probably will want to price the package with tickets. (If you are going between now and June 14 you need to check it out.)
You might want to check with my friends over at Destinations to Travel. They are experts at figuring out the best package for you. They know all the ins and outs of Disney packages and tickets. Give then a shout. You won’t regret it.

Dad’s Bottom Line
Monica, it’s great to have friends with access to tickets. I hope everything works out. Have a great trip.
