Crowd Dates for Feb 2019 vs April 2019

Hi there,

After watching your “When is the best week to visit Walt Disney World in 2019” YouTube video, we were planning to visit Disney World on 2/3/2019-2/10/2019 per your recommendation, however we are having trouble booking our rooms. Since we just realized the Super Bowl is on 2/3, my husband and son are begging me to change the date of our trip.

What are your thoughts on the week of 4/28-5/5 with 4/29 – 5/1 spent at Disney Parks and 5/3-5/4 spent at Universal?

Thanks so much for your help in advance. This is a lot harder than it looks.

Festival Battle

Thanks for watching that video. It’s pretty good isn’t it.

Oh,and Congratulations,

I can’t believe your husband and son would rather watch the Super Bowl than go to Disney World. That’s crazy talk. Let’s look at those April vs. February.

The biggest difference between those two weeks is the Festival’s in EPCOT.

In February, the crowds will be low, and the Festival of the Arts will be going on in EPCOT.

In late April/early May, crowds will be low and the Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing.

Crowd wise, it’s pretty much a tossup. Both weeks will have low crowds so that’s not really a factor. The weather will be warmer in April/May, but still should be very nice.

Dad’s Bottom Line

CIndy, I do like the Flower and Garden Festival a little better than the Festival of the Arts. The Festival of the Arts is new and is still “maturing”.
