The Magic Kingdom is the best theme park in the world. The whole world. So it must have the best attractions right? Well I guess we should figure out what are the BEST Magic Kingdom attractions?
There are so many great attractions at the Magic Kingdom it really was hard to pick just 5.
But somehow I managed. So without further ado…
Here are my choices for the best of the best of the best in the Magic Kingdom. (And as The Cars would say,“you might think I’m crazy”. And I probably am.)
I tried to pick attractions that would appeal to almost everyone. Here we go…
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

I think Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is the best ride in the Magic Kingdom and in the top 2 or 3 of all the rides at Walt Disney World. It’s the perfect ride for families. Everyone can play along. Little ones love the colors. Older ones love shooting the targets and the grandparents love watching the younger ones have fun!
“To infinity and beyond…”
Pirates of the Caribbean

Drink up me ‘earties, yo ho.. It’s time to head over to Pirates of the Caribbean.
It’s the ride that spawned the movies. Everyone loves the pirates. Kids and adults both love the Pirates. Take a look around the park, you might even see some mini Pirates all dressed up. Plus, you never know when Jack Sparrow himself with make an appearance.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Dad’s next choice for the best Magic Kingdom attractions is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It’s my favorite Mountain at Walt Disney World. Yes, there’s a height requirement that will keep the little ones from riding, but it’s a great ride.
There is so much to see as you fly through the old west. Yes, open your eyes and check out the landscape. Check out the guy in the bathtub…
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

Surprise. I’ll bet you didn’t expect Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor to make the list. What can I say, I love the Monsters.
The Monsters are just funny. It’s fun for all ages. Who knows you might even get to be part of the show.
Of course, then there’s Roz. “I’m watching, always watching.”
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Classic, timeless and fun. That’s Dumbo – Photo by Laurie Sapp
The last ride on Dad’s list of the best Magic Kingdom attractions, but certainly not one to be forgotten is probably the most iconic, classic, beloved ride at Walt Disney World.
Every one remembers the first time they rode Dumbo. OK, maybe you don’t but I bet your mother does. There is just something special about that first ride on Dumbo. And with the move over to Storybook Circus the whole story of Dumbo is right there.
