It’s restaurant month here at Dad’s Guide. I like restaurant month, because I like to eat and I like talking about eating. I’ve just started reviewing all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World that I like and eat in regularly. This week I wanted to talk about Wolfgang Puck Express.
A few years ago we met some of our friends at Wolfgang Puck Express for dinner. They go to WDW all the time and just love WPE. We had never tried it and were wary because it was in Disney Springs, the menu was blaah, the timing wasn’t great, but we went and joined them because they are are friends and we like them.
Mrs. Mom really liked it. Me, at that time, not so much. I don’t remember why, but I wasn’t blown away.
Let me interject here that Mrs. Mom and I are pretty much addicted to the Food Network and cooking shows. Wolfgang pops up from time to time and we really like his style. For the most part he cooks with seasonings we enjoy.
Dad Discovers Rotisserie Chicken
So, it was kind of a downer that it didn’t work out. Since that first trip I’ve become a big connoisseur of rotisserie chicken. So when we were looking for a new place to eat at Disney Springs Mrs. Mom suggested we try WPE again. I saw the rotisserie chicken on the menu and said OK.
So we went again. What a difference. I absolutely LOVE the chicken. It’s one of my favorite quick service meal in all of Walt Disney World. The chicken is juicy, and tasty. The potatoes are just like mashed potatoes should taste. Very buttery.
