Disney Dining Plan and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

by John
(New Jersey)

Hey Dad,

We’ll be in Disney this fall during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. My question is, do you know if the Festival Pavilions at the various Countries accept snack credits from the dining plan for the food samplings they offer?

Thanks much!

Dad’s simple Answer

Now that’s a great question. Can you use your snack credits to buy items from the food carts at EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival?

Dad’s International Food and Wine Festival page

The answer is simply, yes. At many of the booths found at the festival you can use your snack credits to purchase items.

Most of the food items cost between 4 and 8 dollars. Most of the items you can normally use your snack credit for cost under 4 dollars this might be a really economical way to use your snack credits.

Be careful though some of that food is addictive and your snack credits will only go so far.

Dad’s Bottom Line

Yes, John this is a shorter than usual answer, but it’s an easy one. The answer is definitely yes you can.

Comments for Disney Dining Plan and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

Sep 04, 2014 DDP
by: Anonymous This page (link below) from Disney says that the Disney Dining plan will NOT be accepted this year. Do you know if this is an error or a new change for the 2014 Festival?

Dad Answers

That page doesn’t say that the DDP won’t be accepted. It say “Food and Wine samples from individual marketplaces require a separate purchase”. Those purchases can be made with your DDP snack credits.
