As of June 2, 2020, we’ll no longer be updating content. But don’t worry - Dad’s friends can still help with all your Disney dreaming, planning, and booking needs!
Thank you for your support of Dad’s Guide to WDW for the past 11 years!
Disney prices are going up again!
Disney prices are going up again. Did you see it?

No? You didn’t see it. That’s OK. You would have only noticed it if you lived in the United Kingdom.
So Dad, why are you blabbering about ticket prices across the pond? What does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?
Uh, eggs in China, nothing. Disney prices going up again, everything.
Listen to Dad. Dad knows Disney.
Disney prices are going up. Again. Soon. They just went up in the UK and they will go up in the US. Soon. Trust me.
Yeah, crazy right? Disney prices are going up. I’m going out on a big limb making that prediction. I’m so good.
But Dad, I’m reading this two years after you wrote it. What do you say now?
Ha, that’s easy. It doesn’t matter when you read this, Disney prices are going up. They always do. They have since Disneyland opened in 1955.
But lately the occurrences of Disney prices going up have accelerated. It seems like every month we hear a new story about prices going up again at Walt Disney World.
OK, Dad. Tell us something we don’t know, like what are we supposed to do about it?
That’s a really good question. Here’s a really good answer.
First and foremost, don’t lose any sleep over Disney price increases. They are going to happen and there’s nothing you can do to stop them. So why worry. Like Bobby says…
“Don’t worry, be happy…”
That’s good advice.
Second, make your vacation reservations and buy your tickets ASAP. Like NOW! Today! No, don’t wait! I don’t care what (insert heretic’s name here) says. Do it. Or as we used to say in Air Traffic Control, don’t think, just do!
Go over and fill out the form on the bottom of our Destinations to Travel page.
NOW. Yes, I’m being pushy. Don’t wait on this. If you wait there’s a good chance that prices will go up. Again. If you have a reservation and make your deposit, your price is locked in. It won’t go up!
So make your reservation as soon as you can.
If you plan to stay offsite, you will want to buy your tickets. Today. Now! Did you hear me? Buy your tickets TODAY before the price goes up AGAIN. They will! Soon!
