First of all you are the bomb! I just love, love, love this site of yours.
I have been to Disney World with my Children and Grandkids and have always done what they wanted to do…. Now…. I have planned a trip to Walt Disney World the week before Thanksgiving this year for myself and a long time friend.
I told her when I retire I want to plan a trip for just us and no children (I do love them dearly) to go to Disney World. She has never been when it is the Christmas season at Disney World. So I thought the week before Thanksgiving would be a good time. Do you think I have made the right choice?
I also want her to see the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event. I want to do the tour Keys to the kingdom. Is this a good time of year to do that tour and is it worth the time? Any suggestions you can give us would be most appreciated.
Dad’s great time, except Answer
What a great time to go to Disney World. The week before Thanksgiving is one of the best weeks of the year crowd wise and Christmas wise. You’ll be able to see Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and all of the other great Christmas decorations and shows, except …
The Candlelight Processional doesn’t start until the day after Thanksgiving. It’s the best Christmas Show at Disney World.
Dad’s Bottom Line
While the week before Thanksgiving at Disney World is a wonderful time, the week after Thanksgiving is even better. Either one is wonderful, but for Dad missing the Candlelight Processional is a really big deal.
Oh, yeah, thanks for the kind words and some day we’re going to get the newsletter to you on time.
