February Disney World Crowds
February, the month of love. So what are the February Disney World Crowds like? Are they filled with love? Ha, ha!
February is really an interesting month. The month of love has some of the slowest days of the year and some of the busiest. It also has Valentine's Day, President's Day and a celebration of Disney Princesses. Oh, and let's not forget that artsy festival... Plus ever 4 years it has a whole extra day!

Let's start with a look at Dad's February Disney World Crowds Calendar.
Dad's Crowd Calendar Disclaimer
This calendar is based on historical facts, as I know them today. The Walt Disney World Resort is an ever-changing environment and you might find things significantly different from below.
(There, Mr. Dad's lawyer, are you happy?)
There are lots of interesting colors on that calendar. Let's talk about some of them.
Early February is busy with a big national dance competition. The middle of the month has President's Day and the Disney Princess Half Marathon. After the marathon everything quiets down.
Oh, and in 2018 February 4th through 10th was Dad's pick for the second best week to visit Walt Disney World. Pretty cool.

It wasn't that long ago that I wrote that President's Day was one of the few holidays that didn't have any crowds. Not any more.
Now, President's Day crowds are as big or bigger as the spring break crowds of March. It all starts a few days before the holiday where crowds explode overnight.
Typically the President's Day crowds show up starting on Thursday before the holiday and grow through Monday. Then they start to wane as the week progresses.
Usually the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is the weekend after President's Day. That keeps the crowds up a little, so it won't be totally slow, but just moderately slow.
The marathon itself doesn't really affect the crowd levels all that much, however it can disrupt crowd flow as the contestants run through the parks.
Valentine's Day. The day of love. The day when all the parks at Walt Disney World are filled with loving couples exclaiming their dying devotion to each other. It's a beautiful thing.
Or, it's just another random, moderately busy day at WDW. Yep, Disney doesn't have any big celebrations for Valentine's Day so basically it's just another normal day.
Finally, The Epcot International Festival of the Arts takes center stage in February. This is where Disney gets creative - visual art, performance art, artsy dishes... you name it, they've got it.
