Sometimes, snacks make the perfect vehicle for a culinary salute to the flag, and WDW has loads of options for red, white, and blue food this time of year!

One thing every BBQ needs is meat, meat, and more meat!  Which is your favorite: jumbo juicy turkey legs, fully loaded hot dogs, or sweet, spiced, and smoky chicken and ribs?

And on the side of all that meat, you can’t go wrong with cornbread – or create a big WOW factor at your party with your very own fixin’s bar!

Food at the Hoop Dee Doo Review

Here’s what’s on the table when you arrive at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue!

And for all the veggie lovers out there, a nice summer salad is always welcome at a BBQ!  How about the fruity watermelon feta salad, crisp and fresh Hoop Dee Doo salad, or a foodie favorite – Buttercup Cottage salad!

And for the perfect sweet ending under the fireworks, how about whipping up the patriotic Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake from Liberty Tree Tavern?  Cake Cups would be a perfect make-ahead treat (I’m picturing shortbread with whipped cream and layers of strawberries and blueberries).  And kids will LOVE marshmallow wands rolled in red, white and blue sugar!

Which magical recipes will you be making this 4th of July?  Share your creations with us on our Facebook page!
