Is Pop normally one of the hotels offered in free dining?
Dad’s For Now Answer
Stacey, Free Dining is one of the most popular promotions of all time at WDW, and the Pop Century resort is one of the most loved resorts. It seems like a great match to pair these two up, but does it happen? You bet. And to Dad’s shock and amazement, Free Dining is back in 2015.

When the Free Dining promotion comes to Walt Disney World, it always arrives with the disclaimer that it’s available at select hotels. It’s usually available at most hotels, but there are restricutions on which rooms apply, how many rooms are available on the promotion and sometimes at specific resorts only certain dates apply.
That’s true at every resort – the Pop Century is no exception. It is possible to not get your Free Dining booking at your resort of choice – last time Free Dining went live, many rooms sold out within hours! If you are lucky enough to be planning a trip to WDW during Free Dining and the Pop is at the top of your list for hotels, book it right away! (Or have a good Disney travel agent like Destinations to Travel take care of the details for you.)

If you can’t get Free Dining because it’s not available at the time of your trip, or it’s sold out, don’t despair! There are lots of other great promotions that can help you save (sometimes even more than Free Dining, depending on your family’s travel style). Room only or package discounts are offered at different points throughout the year and they can be just as valuable!

Your best bet to get Free Dining or the best room discounts of the year is to consider a fall vacation. Typically, the deepest discounts are offered at that time, and are announced in the spring and summer.
Dad’s Bottom Line
Stacey, Free Dining has been available at the Pop Century in the past, and Dad thinks it will be offered again in the future. That is, unless free dining is dead.
