Halloween at Disney World

Can you tell me what you know about the festivities at Ft.Wilderness (trick or treating, sing along, etc.)? Or about Trick or Treating at Downtown Disney?

We are planning on coming Oct. 31, but thought about attending the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on Nov. 1. I thought this party might be less crowded, so we needed something else for Halloween night?? Love the website.

Great question about .

Downtown Disney has what they call a “treat trail” it goes from the West Side all the way to the Marketplace. There are 20 or so stops along the way where children can get treats. It happens on October 30th and 31st and runs from 5:00 to 9:00.

At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds the festivities are meant for guests of the resort only. They range from pumpkin carving to a golf cart parade.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be sold out on November 1. It happens every year. That’s the last party and it almost always sells out. Being a Tuesday night should help some.

Some of the other resorts, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge, and Port Orleans have different activities on Halloween Night including a movie that starts around 8:30.

Dad’s Bottom Line

Disney World is a great place for Halloween activities. Disney does a wonderful job of keeping everything safe and entertaining.

Have a great time.
