How to Link Family and Friends to My Disney Experience
by Dad (The Office)
If you are going to Walt Disney World, you NEED to know how to use My Disney Experience and one of the first things you need to do is to link your family and friends to My Disney Experience. Trust me! This is important. (And really easy.)
The first thing you will need to do is to set up your My Disney Experience account. We’re going to assume that you’ve already done that. Next you’ll need to find the Family and Friends area. It’s in different places depending on what device you are on.
On a desktop – Under My Disney Experience click on My Family & Friends
On a mobile device (tablet or phone) click on the menu (3 bars at the bottom of the page), choose My Profile and two tabs will come up the second one is the Friends & Family list
The next thing to do is to click on the Add a Guest link.
Several options may pop up. (Different options will appear depending on where you are in the process.)
Find through my connected Guests
Import from a Walt Disney World hotel reservation
I’ll enter their name and age
Below that may will be a list people that you may want to add. If the person you are looking for is on the list click them and they will be added.
If they aren’t there then choose one of the other options and fill in the blanks and Disney will find the person you’re looking for.
Once you’ve added family and friends you can make FastPass+ reservations, Advanced Dining Reservations and even manage tickets.
