Introducing T’s Amazing Disney World Adventure
by The Princess
Hey Y’all! Dad asked me (The Princess) to write a few blogs as we plan our next family trip to WDW. Dad decided to hand all of the planning over to me, since he is busy with work and trips. I, of course said yes when he asked me to do this. So, over the next few months I am going to share funny stories and tidbits from our planning adventure.
When is Dad going to WDW?
First, let’s talk about when we are going to WDW. We are arriving at WDW on November 22nd and staying until November 30th. That is the week of Thanksgiving at WDW! We are planning to spend Thanksgiving Day at Universal Studios to avoid the overcrowding that comes with being in the WDW parks on a holiday.
There are 7 of us going on this trip. Of course, Dad and Mrs. Mom, then me (The Princess) and my husband (Prince Charming), The Man-Child and his Southern Belle, and the newest member of our family... T! The Man-Child and Southern Belle recently added T to their family. We are all so excited, especially Dad and Mrs. Mom; they are finally grandparents!
T is the newest member of our family!
T will be 13 when we go on our trip and has never been to WDW. We are so excited to show him the ropes and a few of our favorite things. Our family is devoting our trip to things that we hope he will fall in love with, including fun rides and all the Italian food we can stomach. It is going to be so much fun acting like teenagers again!
What's a TADWA?
If you have been a follower of Dad’s for a while, you know we name our trips. There have been many names over the years including The Palooza 2012 and Palooza 2014. But this year we all put our heads together to come up with a unique name for this trip. This year’s trip will be called T’s Amazing Disney World Adventure or TADWA for short.
I am so excited to take y’all on the planning journey with me. I will be blogging here about T’s Amazing Disney World Adventure and popping up on Dad’s Facebook page to do a video every so often. Make sure to come back for stories about hijinks and who is really in control over the next few months.
