Is Seven Days Enough for a First Time WDW Vacation?
"We are planning our 1st trip to Disney and looking at the end of Sept 2018. we will be flying from WI with a 10yr old boy, and 6yr old girl. Planning on spending a week? Do you feel thats an adequate amount of time?
What would you suggest for travel dates (days of the week) and when to arrive/depart? I was originally thinking I needed to book flights first, but hearing I should book dates now. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to this fun trip, but will feel much better once travel plans are made.😊
Thank you! Sara"

Sarah, YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!
The first trip to Disney World. That's going to be so much fun.
First, right now before you do anything, before you do anything, go over to our Destinations to Travel page and book your trip. Book your hotel. You don't have to book your tickets so much. I would, but you don't have to book your tickets right now. Go ahead and book your trip. Lock in your hotel price today.
Also, booking and having that reservation number allows you to book all of your dining reservations. It's March. You're talking about going in September. That's six months from now. What's big about six months? That's when you can make dining reservations. 180 days, you can make your dining reservations.
If you have a hotel reservation number, you can make your whole trip, your whole seven days, you can go up to ten, but you can make your whole seven days worth of dining reservations. That's a big thing.
So book TODAY!
Is seven days the right amount of time for a Disney vacation?

I think seven days is almost the perfect amount of time for a first trip. Six, seven days, just about right. It gives you a couple of days in the Magic Kingdom, a couple days in Epcot, a day in Disney's Hollywood Studios, a day in Animal Kingdom, and some time to see other things, time to look around at the hotels, time to go over to Disney Springs. I just think it's a good amount of time to go. Yes, seven days is just about right.
Get the book
One thing that will really help is my book. It takes you step by step from who to go with, to when to go, to where to stay. It's all in here. It's all in here. How to plan your days in the parks, all of it's right here. Your planning will go a lot better with the book, so grab the book and let it help you plan your trip.
Which day to travel?
As to which day of the week to travel, it really doesn't matter much in September. That's the slowest month of the year travel wise to Orlando, but Destinations to Travel can help you out with that too.
For a first trip it's going to be good. Yeah, it's going to be a little hot. September's hot, but it's just going to be really good. It's going to be Fun. It's going to be Magic. Get in touch with Destinations to Travel.
