“Hi Dad, my son is taking his wife, 3 boys who all live in the USA with Granny and Grandpa to WDW in April 2019.(April 28 to May 4). He has done all of the arrangements and bookings for the Art of Animation Resort.
QUESTION: Will I be able to use my Bank credit card to purchase items at the various outlets or just my Magic Band which is for his account, which I do not want to do!!
By the way we are super excited and I am getting a lot of tips from your blog etc.

Disney Takes Credit Cards
YOU’RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
It’s going to be a great trip. There’s nothing better than going to WDW with the grandkids.
You do NOT have to use a MagicBand to charge things. I don’t. I’ve never used my MagicBand to pay for a purchase at WDW.
You can use your credit card or cash at all the shops, restaurants, souvenir stands, and pretty much anywhere else you can buy something at Disney World.
As long as it’s a major credit card brand (Visa or Mastercard) you will be fine.
Dad’s Bottom Line
You and your family are going to have a super trip. Don’t worry about paying with a MagicBand, it’s not necessary at all.
