The Disney Parks Blog announced recently that a new nighttime projection show, “Once Upon a Time” will make its debut at Magic Kingdom Park on November 4.

During the show, Cinderella’s castle will be transformed into an almost 3-dimensional story book as Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast shares bedtime stories with her son Chip. Chip—and Disney World guests—are then taken on a magical journey through some of “the most adventurous scenes from favorite Disney films like Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.”

Some scene will include a flight with Peter Pan high above London and over to NeverLand, a lively tea party with the one and only Mad Hatter, and an intense duel between Gaston and Beast. And, of course, there will be a grand finale that will feature even more characters from your favorite Disney films, and maybe even a few fireworks.

The show was modeled after Tokyo Disneyland Park’s “Once Upon a Time” fireworks show which debuted in May 2014, and uses “projection mapping technology to cover every nook and cranny of Cinderella’s Castle in vibrant images that appear almost three-dimensional.”

The show is set to take place before the longstanding “Wishes nighttime spectacular,” replacing the current “Celebrate the Magic” projection show, which will have its final performance on November 3.
