(Old Bridge, NJ)
We will be in Disney World for 9 days in early November, and hopefully the weather is conducive to eating a few meals outside (breakfast and lunch outside of the parks for a few meals). Any recommendations on outdoor dining at Disney World. Like locations to sit by the water or nice scenic views? Thank you in advance for your help!

Dad’s dining with a view Answer
Outdoor dining at Walt Disney World in November sounds cool. Not just temperature wise but interest wise. I love sitting outdoors and watching the people go by.
There are lots of restaurants around the parks and the hotels that have outdoor dining. That doesn’t mean they all have great views or are very interesting. For example Pecos Bill has outdoor dining. But the only thing interesting about it is trying to keep the birds from eating your food.
There are a couple of places where the only dining available is outdoors. One of them qualifies for one of the most scenic and interesting places in all of Disney World to eat outdoors. That’s the Pizza window on the Boardwalk. It’s a great place to sit and watch people in a mind blowing environment. You sit on the shore of Crescent Lake, with the Swan and Dolphin and the Yacht Club and Beach Club in the background. Entertainers preform especially after dark. And, the main thing is the Pizza is really good.
There are a few places that have interesting dining only during certain times. Casey’s Corner is a prime example. Most of the day there is not a lot to see from Casey’s Corner, but when it comes to Wishes and the parades, Casey’s is prime real estate.
The porch at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is another example of prime real estate during the parades and not so good views the rest of the time.
Probably the best outdoor dining at Disney World with a view is in Epcot. There are a couple of places like La Hacienda y La Cantina. It has a great view of the World Showcase Lagoon. The Cantina section is all outside seating. The other is a seating area behind Yorkshire County Fish Shop. It’s almost directly across from the Cantina and has a full view of the Lagoon.
Some of the hotels have some outdoor seating around the water. The one that jumps to my mind immediately is Caribbean Beach Resort. There are some pretty colorful tables outside the food court with a view of the pool and the lagoon. Most of the food courts for the hotels have outdoor seating.
Dad’s Bottom Line
Lance, that’s a quick list of places where you can dine outside. Most of the table-service restaurants don’t have outdoor dining and most of the quick-service restaurants do. Eating outdoors can be a pain, but it can be fun, especially when the temperature is comfortable.
