I have a few questions on using the monorail. I keep reading different things, so hopefully you can help me out.
We are staying off-site and will have a rental car. We would like to do breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, but I’ve heard parking at the Grand Floridian is a pain. Can we drive to the TTC and take the monorail over to breakfast, even though we aren’t visiting any parks that day?
Also, will we have to pay to park at the TTC? One more question…we are heading to Downtown Disney after breakfast, how far is it from the Grand Floridian? Thanks for you help!

Mandy, (Dad will refrain from singing just this once.)
Let me make this easy for you. If you are going to end up at Downtown Disney then when you arrive park at Downtown Disney. Go over to the bus area and get on the bus to the Grand Floridian. Plan about 45 minutes for the ride (that’s worst case scenario).
To park in the parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center, you’ll have to pay the $14.00, and like you said, parking at the Grand Floridian can be problematic. So if you are going to end up at Downtown Disney, go ahead and park there. It’s free.
